Clinevo Medvidya and Hand surgery clinics fellowship program is dedicated to the education of surgeons in the art and science of hand surgery.
 

Our mission is to educate surgeons in hand and micro surgery so they will treat the hand injured at the highest level possible. We will support education and research to advance the speciality on a daily basis.

Clinical Education

  • Skin repair, including grafts and flaps, multiple tissue flaps, free microscopic tissue transfers and insertion of tissue expanders

  • Fingertip injuries

  • Tendon repair, including flexor tendon repair and graft, implantation of tendon spacer, extensor tendon repair, and tenolysisl tenodesis

  • Tendon transfer and tendon balancing

  • Nerve repair, including major and digital, graft, neurolysis, surgical treatment of neuroma, transpositions, and nerve decompressions.

  • Management of fractures and dislocations, including phalangeal or metacarpal. With and without internal fixation;wrist,radius,and ulna with and without internal fixation; and injuries to joint legaments.

  • Bone Grafts

  • Joint and Tendon sheath repairs, including release of contracture, synovectomy,arthroplasty with and without implant, Arthrodesis,Trigeer finger release, and stiff joint and results from rheumatoid or other injury

  • Pollicization or ray transfer

  • Foot to hand transfer

  • Tumors, benign and malignant

  • Dupuytren’s contracture

  • Replantation, revascularization

  • Amputations

  • Fasciotomy, deep incision and drainage for infection and wound debridement

  • Congenital deformities, including syndactyly and others

  • Management of upper extremity vascular disorders and insufficiencies

  • Foreign body, implant removal

  • Thermal injuries

  • Arthroscopy

  • Upper extremity pain management

Responsibilities Of A Fellow

  • Fellows will see patients in clinic with the staff and formulate a treatment plan.

  • Fellows will assist the attending staff in surgery at various hospitals.

  • Fellows will participate in fellow teaching conferences
